Ramiro "Ram" Herrera
Ramiro "Ram" Herrera
Grammy nominee Ramiro Herrera is a legend in the Texas music industry. His is one of the rare musical careers to successfully span three decades.

"Tejano singer Ramiro Herrera, named by his fans as Most Wanted Man and also known by his nickname of Ram, started getting involved in show business while participating in a seven-piece act called David Lee Garza y Los Musicales, debuting with the release of Cuatro Caminos in 1981. The artist decided to go on his own in 1984, recording and issuing a self-titled album that same year. Throughout his career, Ramiro Herrera received notoriety for being an unconditional contributor to humanitarian organizations such as Brown Santa and the Texas Diabetes Association, and also for participating in Raúl Jiménez Thanksgiving Dinner. Ramiro Herrera's acclaimed performances were recognized by the Tejano Music Awards when they announced the artist was voted Male Entertainment of the Year. In March of 2007, the singer signed up to the independent label Tejas Records, releasing an album called Ram Herrera & The Outlaw Band 2007 soon after." ~ Drago Bonacich, All Music Guide
David Lee Garza
David Lee Garza
Born and raised in Poteet, Texas, Grammy award winning, David Lee Garza began playing the accordion with his father, Tony and formed a local circuit group known as David Lee y Su Conjunto, rarely venturing out of their area. The Musicales are truly a family dynasty: David handles the accordion and 2nd vocals; his brother Richard, plays bass guitar; brother Adam handles the drums; Oscar “WoWee” Montemayor is on saxophone, Billy O’Rourke on bajo-sexto and guitar and vocals, Daniel Fernandez keyboards, and John Cruz on electric guitar, with Cezar Martinez handling Lead Vocals.

After more than 30 years in the business David Lee Garza y Los Musicales have generated hit after hit with a combination of easily danceable melodies and earthy roots music blend of Country, Tex-Mex and straight up Tejano.

The band has been the only Tejano group to have spun off several benchmark careers for some of the most talented and influential vocalists/artists in the industry today — Ramiro “Ram” Herrera, Emilio Navaira, Oscar G, Jay Perez, Marcos Orozco, Mark Ledesma and Ben Ozuna who left to create their own names among the Marquee signs while garnering their accolades. Now with his New Vocalist Cezar Martinez from Robstown Texas brings his youthful style to los Musicales and creates a young and new energetic sound.
